he was laying alongside the big ornate but the battery in the camera was flat would have made a good pic the bgk went straight into the centre piece of driftwood , the dat cruised for a while and has found a spot under neath anothe piece of driftwood and the ornate burrowed into the java moss with the other smaller ornate thanks for the plants also will post a pic of tank when batteries charged

clean cool water will do the eel the world of good when well they will eat anything that will fit in their mouth and things that won't either crays are a natural food for them small brown fish was probably was probably one of the gallaxiads, inanga, kokopu etc

used to sit and watch the suris for ages with their young you come to realise after a while of fishkeeping how smart some species of fish are and how they use different ways to ensure survival of their young
