This was an ARC by-law which has not yet been updated so according to the council still stands.     both have mdf so will swell if wet, you could seal or paint to help make it more resistant should be able to go down to building supplies and get some ply cut to size

    Tattooed fish are legal to import as the tattooing was done in another country. Tattooing fish in this country would come under the animal welfare act and would probably attract a prosecution and also public outcry.
