Crap internal amp may have something to do with it. But do upgrade the earphone. Personally i dont even like the standard ipod ones Borrow a ipod and a cheapie and have a play with them at home and see which you prefer

Depends on where you are and how hot the room gets Chillers are not cheap I planing on using computer fans and frozen bottle's of water if my native tank gets warm

So why do some members swear by petshop lights rather than wholesaler ones? What kelvin rating do the plant lights have? 4300k ish? Iv never had problems with wholesaler ones that are 6500k Go for gold

I just have my in a small tank Its going to take 20+ years for it to be around 1.5mtrs long Ianab: Live possum or dead? Steak works quite well

But i agree with livingart Theres a difference between surviving and thriving Be better off with a tropical eel The native ones take YEARS to grow to full size

Talking about the ones on trademe? Native eels I have one here, you can have a look at it when you come down They are cold water and are slow growing You could keep on in walmish water if you introduce them slowly, but i would not do this Got my one and tank of the seller on trademe, some 12year old girl lol I would hit buynow if i could pick them up, but yeh im not driving a few hours for some cold water eels Talk more later, cooking on the bbq right now

What other media has it got? What model and what tank size do you have? Whats in the tank? How often before it gets clogged?

Will be more cost effective to run a sump than 2 fx5's IMO More media in the sump as well

Sound proofing and quite pumps FTW Im going to have a sump on my big tank and will have 2 2800LPH return pumps in the sump...........will be in my room so will need sound proofing a closed cell foam

Yep Hard to tell by the pics Would be best for the owner to google images it and compare the fins and etc Bumble bee is the closest thing i know off I may be way off lol
