Its going to be hard to get light penetration down 70cm http://www.fitchfamily.com/lighting.html is a good read Remember you are going to also need to add CO2/flourish excel and some form of fert If it was me id get a tank thats not so tall and is longer(if possible) Personally i use power saver lights that are 6500k and 100w. They are cheap as chips and work well for me

Iv seen them "school" They dont school like smelt, koaro and inanga. But they do group in large numbers and swim in the same direction/pattern at times Iv also noticed that they are quite happy upside down on objects, such as under pontoons

No its was fine It loved its terracotta tube It should be happy as long as it could hide when it needed it It probably feels exposed Dont waste $ on feeders yet. Buy some tank decorations such as wood/tubes/hiding places Is it eating yet? Got msn?

When they are not with their own species they are out and about more. Is it still hiding in the corner?

Dat will take some time to settle in. Put some plants in the tank or at least some wood to break up the tank Your tank looked a bit empty to be honest Have you given them somewhere to hide yet?

Hard wire usb into the ciggy socket? Possible? What voltage is usb? 12v? www.hackaday.com have a few how to's on how to make usb chargers out of 9v batts and the such Or just buy one
