hmm, that idea may not work, as the glass piece are touching, therefore I cant fit the razor between the brace and the tank :roll:

has anyone experimented with applying mirror tint to their e planted tanks? I thought that this maybe a great way of multiplying the light inside the tank, thus making the plants happy. I know some of you are maybe thinking it stupid because you wont be able to see into the tank, but as long as the inside of the tank is brighter than outside, you will be able to see in perfect.

My tank has 3 braces on the top, one at each end and one in the middle. I want to stick a fairly large piece of drift wood into the tank, and well it just wont fit so I was going to try removing the center brace. Does anyone know how to do this? I was planning on just knifing the silicon Thanks

he would appear to be swimming fine at the moment, and his eye looks normal And only thing I did was take away my crown loaches hiding spot, cause I never saw them :roll: This was the 1st time I have seen him display, and this was towards the clown loaches, he doesn't even do it at his reflection, is that normal?

Well his eye only looks like its sticking out a bit because there is a white line accross the top of his eye, where it looks like the skin had stretched. hmm for the size of the tank i would say alot. thats flake food....I think, its not on the fish anyways

No unfortunately due to lack of funds, my other tank is bare.. I thought that it was water pressure squeezing the air out of him that was cause air bubbles to come out of him.. He is still making a nest, so I cant imagine he is to worried about it.

well my male is constantly making bubbles nests, but it would appear as though when he sucked up his bubbles they went down the round hole... He is full of air and just floats around or swims on his side, when he swims to the bottom of the tank air comes out (not sure which end), and it looks like one of his eyes is sticking out a bit. Is this normal?

Ah, Meth will cause silaflex and possible other products like it to degrade. Use sika isopropyl alcohol for cleaning up

Hi, Bought a tank recently with the sides and back painted black, I want to remove the paint from one side, and have SLOWLY start to scrap it off with a sharp blade...but i gave up Thinking of trying the waterblaster Any other ideas?

Thanks for the feedback...I wasnt able to find one for anything close to $120 in my LFS's, but I did get the CF1200 :bounce: Now to break the bank with some T5 lighting :lol:

Yeah thanks for that, Hadn't seriously considered the fish, and I did just read that 4 would most likely be to many. Are these good filters?

Hi, I recently purchased a 3ft 125L tank, and I'm looking at a filter. I plan for the tank to be heavily planted. I realise that the CF700 will do the job, how ever I'm open to the possibility of just having 4 full grown discus in the tank, for this am i better off going for the CF1200. there is only a $20 price difference so I'm not really botherd which one i get. Thanks Andrew PS could someone please tell me the RRP of these filters.

I got a Eheim 2008 internal filter, my questions -can I put it lower in the tank then 1cm below water level? -I plugged my Yeast style Co2 system into the diffusor thing, is that ok? -how long before I can remove my old filter? (currently both are running)
