  2. Ok, your base and top want to be same. You want your 2/4 so the vertical face is the 4" side. Your want you long 5ft bit to be one continous piece. and the 2ft sides to one piece. Your upright will butt-up to the base and top. You want every piece of 2/4 used in the lid and base to be sitting on top a 2/4 upright, so that all the weight is on the 2/4 upright not the joins in the top. Stick it all together how ever, glue and screw it. (i wouldn't use nails) then make like a top for the top of the frame fom like 18mm marine ply, glue and screw to your 2/4 frame. you should probably screw and glue some sheets of wood to the sides and back, going into all the uprights. this will stop it racking, and keep it all square ect. http://img219.imageshack.us/img219/3605/dsc00232on9.jpg Img Tags Removed.   6. As one of my Beetroot's wasn't doing to well in my tank I took it out, and I'm now trying to grow it in a glass. Currently, its planted in gravel from the tank, with 1/2 the plant in water from the tank, with flourish excel added. What else can I do to get it back growing strong?

  12. mine goes through a circuit breaker, then has multiple cut offs in the unit(Includes short circuit protection, automatic thermal cutoff and automatic overload protection), and is adjustable from 3V to 12V, and its on a timer so it only really has power for 2hours a day.

  17. I have cut that down. to twice a day. and small ammounts.
  18. I siphoning weekly, But I did it three days in a row last week, just to get it all out of those hard to reach places. and i will stop feeding them shrimp pellets. Water is clear, but still has particles floating around
  19. I made one with a 300mm Neon/ CCFL mini fluorescent tube, running through a regulated dc power supply.

  21. turn the lights off, as they are nocturnal (sp*) Mine used to suck onto the glass, and swim around, then I tried to net him, and he started hiding, just starting to venture out again now.
