did you clean the filter when you cleaned the tank?
Sometimes when you clean the filter it makes the flow faster and fighters dont do well with high waterflow
I just clicked buynow on the new tank
$15 for A 80x30x30cm tank so around 70L
I will probably silicone some perspex in at the top and bottom to make seperation possible if i ever need it.
I saw one puff up today when having a argument, After that i added some more rocks and plants, also some pvc pipe.
They also ate for the first time infront of me, They ate the BIG mossie larvae
Argh.. There are already quite a few fish in there, and dont have a tank to move them to. :-?
Will cut down the light, and maybe i need to take one of the big pieces of wood out
So the pictures are her now, they are too small and too hard to take photos of! lol
WOW photobuckets old uploader is slow!!
( i typed the above about 20 minutes before the pics )
The phots are quite bad so youre gonna have to play 'spot the puffers'
So what do i need to test for, and fix?
I really want this tank looking good.
It has 4 4foot t8 bulbs on it, has aquatic mix under the sand, and co2 running, might stop the co2 though, the fish arent liking it.
I have got my main, nice tank covered in it, it grows so fast, im going to use the magnet cleaner, to get as much of as i can, and syphon it out, then do a black out, then il use a some antibiotics if neccessary.
ITS SO ANNOYING!
I'm just going to try the 'blackwater tank, throw java moss in use live food and be lazy and look for small fry a couple weeks later ' way to start with
Dont have much time till late January, so will have a proper attempt then
