In my 300L 'south american' setup i have had nothing but troubles with algae. Have had greenspot,brown algae, hair algae. Currently have Brown algae, Beard algae, and string algae. And to be honest i have just had enough of it. What could be causing it? Im seriously considering putting all the fish and un-algaed plants in a large plastic container and starting over. But what i need to know is if all the algae could be transfered in the filter(im buying new hoses and filter intake/output.

Well whats the point in telling you the species if you 'Can't' change the nametags? :lol:

Are they all males?

How much were they each>?

Bummer Thats the native fish im going to get if i ever manage to set up a native tank.

Just found out the 'gold striped' And Anostomus ternetzi is gonna cost me $60+ lol, so just back to the other 2 Abramites hypselonotus- Marbled headstander Anostomus anostomus- Striped headstander

Inmy experience snails travel very well. I have had many come in the mail and never had any problems

It twists in there when empty..lol But its soo heavy now and to twist it out will be impossible(nearly)
