  1. I think phoenix has something to get over
  2. So pretty much what he has done is just stupid?
  3. This isnt the 'redspotted severum' its the redhead/red shoulder(green body).
  4. 200= about 52Gallon? Meaning you can keep about 52 inches of fish in your tank(not the best rule either) 12 neons - about 12Inches, 4 zebs - about 5-6Inches 4 rummy nose -about 6Inches, 4 glass blood fins- about 4Inches 2 red honey gourami - about 4Inches, 2 golden honey gourami, about 4 Inches 4 harlquins, about 4Inches, 1 male red dwarf gourami about 2 Inches 1 cobalt blue gourami about 2 Inches, , pair of bristlenose plecos about 8-10 Inches Already thats about 50-55Inches and theres still a good aleast 50Inches worth of fish below :-? SO even though the rule you are going by isnt the greatest, you are still going way over the 'limit' , 2 pristella tetra, 4 silver spot tetra, 1 blue female ram (partner died Y/day), 6 assrted khuli loach, 3 black wodows, 4 pairs of variuos of corydoras. 2 myers hillstream loaches, 1 lancelot whip 1 rhino whip, 1 black tail whip. and 1 horse face algae eater, 1 black line flying fox, 1 pair snow coral platties.
  5. Ohdear You're talking about your fish as if its a piece of equipment rather than a fish.
  6. Quite a few  Nahh Wild is best  and i would consider a different colour a strain Nicefish
  7. Sorry for the stupid question, but what are they F1 of? Wildfish or just a new strain?
  8. Dont indian almond leaves lower the PH And have anitbacterial or anti fungal properties?
  9. I think stunted fish are more prone to disease and They will live a shorter life, but im sure there are other reasons it is so bad
  10. I would even love a normal nannacara or 4
  11. Look right through this page http://www.aquaonline.com.br/forum/view ... &start=110
  12. Just the same as normal mollies  You might also want to tell your friend that they are selectively bred from mutations and often have trouble swimming properly due to their unnatural shape and sometimes their organs may outgrow their body.
  13. I've asked people this about different items a few times, and have been asked aswell
  14. Not yet  Im going to use it directly on the algae it kills as they appear(if they do) after the Big tank restart.
  15. Nah, i say no to chemical i dont NEED. (except flourish, but thats different )
  16. Those 3 things sound just like those horrible chemicals i dont need and dont use
  17. I do realise i will get all the new tank algae problems, But i have been wanting to redo the tank since before the algae got bad, so i thought now would be the best time also while i have the spare tank atm. This tank breakdown will also give me a chance to get good enough photos to ID my apistos and to count how many of what i have and sort out the corys so i only have 2 species and give away the deformed ones to my friend.
  18. I have 4(that im about to sell) That have moved around 4 tanks. And in all those tanks i haven't had any snails after removal of the loaches except adult Malayan trumpets that bury themselves and breed under gravel
  19. Thanks for all the advice. But i dont see the beard algae on the wood going away by itself, Theres so much of it. And with the light. with only 2 bulbs going, there isnt enough light to reach the plants at the bottom. Do the tannins from the wood block some light? When i start over Im not going to let the water get 'tannined'(lol).
  20. Get some pvc pipe, Put it in the tank so that one ends near the bichirs face and the others sticking out of the water, drop food in pipe and it will go straight to the bichir
  21. No ferts OK so there is a large amount of wood in the tank, and the wood is where most of the algae is, so when i restart the tank(which i have been wanting to do for a while, not just because of the algae) I will use less and a different type something more like this
  22. I underfeed if anything, Constantly adding new cold water because the waters 28 and has a open top and looses alot of water and a 20% water change every week aswell as the 2nd daily top ups. And light is only 2 t8 4foots and 2 t5. Not enough light to grow the plants i want. I read that the daltons aquatic mix can help the algae grow faster. Is this true?
