Would a 3cm bn help? I think i will just take all plants with algae out,clean them,clean the tank glass then put the plants back in.

i Have a huge brown algae problem at the moment. THe tank gets a couple hours of direct sunlight a day atm because i havnt had my shelf made yet. What would be the best way to control it? Should i take all ther plants out they are mostly covered in algae.

Arent all aros in NZ fixed? Or is it just asian aros that get fixed before they come here?

most loaches will eat fry smaller than their mouths.

So... these levels have been the same for about 2 weeks now-ammonia0ppm nitrite in between 0 & 0.025ppm ph 7.2 But i now have reason to believe that water quality isnt the problem as today when i fed shrimp pellets to another tank with 4 black widows, one of the larger black widows got one stuck in its mouth for about 2minutes and now its jaw is bent out on one side and its gills looks very similar to the other ones.

The Blind cave tetras are on TM.now because they also tryin to eat fins of fish in my tank. :-?

i think most loaches will eat fry.

I had heaps of malayan trumpets in my tank then i got 2 dwarf and 2 kuhli loaches and they all disapeared

there are more than 3 types of 'eels' in shops here.

id say no smaller than 4foot for all 3

SO i found the sick sterbai in its netbreeder today dead, and there seems to be a panda cory missing :-?

Im not going to put the rams in for a while now, because ihave quite a bad algae problem and its all over the walls and plants so i want to control that before anymore fish go in.

Whats the big fish in the centre of the fuill tank shot? And how do your discus and angels get along with eachother?

Well im going to try it,and if they look stressed i will move them back. because the tank they are in atm is a bit overcrowded.
