    I have now ended up with just a male betta in here now because i got him given to me and it was the only tank that suited him and he didnt like the tetras. SO i plan on having this tank just for him and 2-3 females but i dont think it is big enough for them to be together as i have been told he will chase them too much so i will have a divider in between the male and females. and use another tank for breeding.

    Got the light unit yesterday. Set it up on axolotl tank and turned it on and it was very bright, THe axies didnt like it so i took it off their tank :-? . One of the bulbs is white and the other purple when going will they be good bulbs? the purple bulb is arcadia branded.

    Would i need a heater if the tank was sitting right next to a 28 degree tank and had poly right round it apart from the side that is touching the other tank? And it will be in a cupboard or a wooden cabinet.

    I think i have this algae aswell. Is it bad for the tank or fish?

    What size tank would be good for spawning Siamese Fighters? Would a 24cm x 24cm x 15cm tank do?

    My friend is also getting 2 2cm ones. Could they go in his community tank with a male fighter? THe tank is 2 1/2'

    And would 4-5mm poly be alright for between tank and stand?

    And i have pretty much finished the stand now. Just need to put a base on it, How big should the base be? The stand has the same footprint as the tank so im geussing the base on the stand need to be bigger? And what should i paint it with?

    im picking up some female fighters on saturday all red ones.

    im getting 5 females on saturday but they are only 2cm could they be put in this tank with him yet?

    I usually boil it or put a lead pant wieght through the middle.

    the 3 glowlights have been nipping his fins and then he chases them to the top of tank. When i was watching this he chased one out the gap of the lid onto the floor. I saved that one but when i picked him up i saw another dried up on carpet so i took the rest of the tetras out.

    I think you could keep 4 discus in that tank.

    they are most likly bronz cory eggs. Scrape them off the glass and put them in a floating container in the tank with airstone or in seperate tank.
