I am moving the young tetras to another tank now that is a bit smaller but a more practical shaped tank. The one they are in now is too deep.

i dont have any brinshrimp at the moment,but when i did i was hatching them in a 1L bottle floating in 25degree water. But i have been feed microworms, frzn bloodworms and tetra granules the last week and they have grown quite a bit more now have about 15 at 1.5cm and their colour is getting a deeper black.

How long does it take for long-finned black widows to get long fins?

our old severums used to eat anthing. From guppies and bloodworms to lettuce and zuchini. THey even ate cat bicuits.

WHeres the cheapest place to get ceramic noodles? Il buy 2 enough to fill 2 baskets and will swap with some from establishd tank from someone.

the best sand in CHCH IMO is river sand from oderings in barrington. $4 a bag.

What tools do i need to cut glass? And where is the cheapest place to get them?

I dont have any yet but i am planning on getting some. I planing on spawning them in one tank and once they spawned move them to my fighter tank.

I have read that on some auto feeders they get humid and flakes dont work too well. Not sure how true it is though,

What Filter media should i used for my fluval 404. At the moment it has 2 trays full of ceramic noodles and the 2 sponge pads. Should i put filter wool in the other trays or something else?

Could i keep some galaxy rasboras/ celestial danio with my male betta in a 16L cube? Or do they nip fins?

i might try have 2 80L fishbins. 1 with minnows or barbs and 1 with leopard fish.

Try other live foods then. Microworms and whiteworms are much easier to keep going.

Breeding Siamese Fighters(just released the female)

Well at one stage last night i stayed out of the room for about 20 mins and then cam in and the females was on the opposite side of the tank and the male was at the nest. Could they have bred in 20mins? And how do i tell if they have? -
Would leopardfish be alright? I have about 20-30 fry and 3 adults. I could put some of the young in when they get to 2cm if they would be alright.

i dont think they spawned unless they do the whole thing in like 5-10 mins cos i was checking on them very frequently. Will the male add to the bubble nest when there are eggs in there? -

I caught the female last night and put her back in the floatin hatchery, just in case he attacked her in the night. she looks a bit skinnier now but no eggs in the nest :-? Should i condition her up again and try again in a few days?
