For a 120 by 60 by 60 tank you need 2 tubes, so use that as a guide for howmuch you need

The stuff mentioned above is great, also a brand called "sika" * clear * used for windows etc, if you read the back it says its aquarium safe.

I live out in the wops, I use bore water, high in iron but that mostly settles down before come out the tap. Perfectly fine to use. Just test the water if the house has an old concrete/plaster tank, if its plastic no worries.

I found the auction your talking about, if you look to the left in the photo he/she has another tank (also a dirty green colour) i assume that over stocked aswell. Also only has a 1200 L / ph filter... that would only be good for up to 300 L maximum So many people have no clue about fish keeping, imagine your tank, now imagine that in the ground and picture it as part of a stream - makes your tank look like a puddle when you compare it to a natural fish habitat doesn't it?

Update: Tank arrived, put a can of fly spray inside do give you an idea of the size

Your forgetting about nitrites, it goes ammonia, NITRITES, nitrates, right now i bet that is spiking unless your using a filter that was seeded off mature tank. When its cycled you should see nitrates
