not worth the risk to save a few $ IMO

i had a package get handed over to RD and it took around 48 hours. they were red empresses about 6 or 7cm and one died out of 6 i think so wasn't a bad outcome.

i always filter heaps and feed to match, it works well as I never have health issues.

i had the tropical on one half and the sunlight on the other, the tropical made it made the tank a little blue compared with the sunlight. after consultation with the better half i swapped the tropical for a sunlight which is what my lights are that you saw the other day.

maybe but half of mine are this size, the others are most likely female. Is it just that i feed alot? I would like to know if other in NZ have them this size or are mine freaks.

after a comment elsewhere i netted and measured one of my shellies, three of my 6 are a similar size, slightly smaller or larger but this one measures at around 7cm. The info on the cichlid forum states they get to 2" (5cm+-) so I am curious to find out how many others have some at that size. ok thanks. dispersion may not be the right word either but hey, you get what i mean. I was smart enough to do water changes on my tanks before the water started going in so I am good for a week or so. I haven't done any water changes for two weeks so i may just leave it for two weeks and use some water conditioner then.

I am about to fill my water tanks up from town supply, 40,000L worth. How long do you think it will take before i don't have to use de-chlorinator when doing water changes?

there are heaps of options. when the fronts get big enough they will eat the demonsoni. what are the dimensions? i would go for red empress and giraffes, as adults they will look awesome with the fronts.
