  1. my extensively hotted up SS runs around on about 11L/100, they aren't as hard on gas as people think but it is fuel injected. The pajero probably uses more?

    i always over feed, even the tropheus and never had any issue. you do need enough filtration for that though.

    africans in general can suffer from bloat. Malawians i found to be less likely to get it as i used to feed a wide variety of food. Several bought fish foods, sushi wrap, shelled peas, blood worms, even steak but with the tropheus i'm not prepared to run the risk of them getting sick so i stick to NLS. My opinion on feeding random foods to the malawians is everything in moderation and give them a variety, it worked well for me.

  13. so the filtration is run by a pump, 16,000LPH should be enough for an approx 2000L tank.
  14. anything euro will cost huge money in maintenance and servicing so good luck with that. american v8 could only equal chev, great choice 8)
  15. depending on what fish you will be keeping exactly can make different shaped tanks better. for territorial fish a long tank is better as it will give more space for them to establish their areas, the bigger the tank the more territories can be established and that will prevent males fighting for space. i have little experience with SA's but i'm sure others will chime in with their help.

  18. this is a pretty good size, i want very much. The sump is 8 feet long, tank is 11 feet long
  19. i don't know what it is but i'm confident it aint bba. my rocks are covered but i'm fine with it. it doesn't seem to get any longer than about 5mm.
