  1. are you dosing as directed?
  2. i watched that over & over, Tua always had the skills to knock anyone out but lewis kept him at arms length so he couldn't & got the points to win. Lewis is a boxer with brains & boxed Tua tactically which Tua couldn't combat as he has one string to his bow. I am a huge fan of Tua but when against an excellent intelligent fighter he can't adapt. He is a non-guided seek & destroy boxer. I am stoked that tua won, when i heard Cameron saying things like "I am thankful he has given me the oppourtunity to end his career" i hoped Tua would win. I can't wait to hear what cameron has to say
  3. nah at the pines. it is eating grass & carrot & is much more lively today so all is well so far. i am still giving it milk, at what stage would i stop?
  4. this morning it seems to be doing well. i fed it again but it doesn't seem to be interested in grass or carrot. I would say that it is the age where its still feeding from its mum so will keep doing that & leave the food with it, maybe it will cotton on. it is getting plenty of attention from my kiddies (8, 5 & 2), they are very keen on it
  5. awesome, i hope you would see this being the fountain of knowledge you are i will apply all & see how it goes. i tried to feed it sprouts but it wasn't keen. actually i'm not keen on them either so possibly not the best option.
  6. yes it is, batteries are flat so not an option right now.
  7. I have caught a baby rabbit on a golf course today, i would guess its about 2 weeks old. it is about 10cm long over all & quite clumsy. i have fed it goats milk with a syringe, each time about 5mls & it seems to take it well & cleans itself after & looks to go to sleep. is this what i should be doing, any other tips you can share?
  8. i am sure that the female would start releasing them after 24 days or so then collecting them again if she sensed danger. if she has held for 2 weeks or more they aren't going to drop them. at 15 days the fry can swim around, very un-co due to the egg sack but swimming no the less. i have also found that the quantity of fry decreases the longer the holding goes on, the sooner you strip the more you will have.
  9. i strip mine at 18 or 19 days & the fry are free swimming without yoke sacks. at 15 days they still ahve yoke sacks but put in a net they just bob around until its absorbed.
  10. i have put eggs that have been dropped in a basket & they have grown into fry & been perfectly normal fish so give that a go. you have nothing to loose. yes you came put er back in the main tank to spawn again.
  11. no thats not how its supposed to happen. she should hold the eggs for around 3 weeks which will let them grow into free swimming fry. is this the first time she has held? I have found that juvenile females won't sucessfully hold until the second or third try.
  12. maybe a comprimise would work, what do you experienced aro keepers think of a 2100L x 900W x700H?
  13. when i was 15 (1995) i paid $1200 per year for full cover on a $5k 1988 holden 2.0L. In 1997 i traded it on a 1992 Subaru Legacy 2.0L Turbo worth $18K. With no claims or tickets on my insurance history they wouldn't insure me (who would insure a 17 yr old with a hiroshema screamer?). I rang again a week later to try again as i had a big loan & no insurance to try my luck. No was the answer again ..... then the lady said to me "Is any of your family insured with us?". I found out that my grandad was & told them, i waited for 10 minutes on hold & she came back & said i had insurance! wahoo ..... "oh what is it going to cost?" i asked fearing the worst. $725 per year was the reply. $500 cheaper than the old slug??? Shop around, its not what you know oh, this was state.
  14. white spot cure. the stuff i used was in a clear bottle with white label.
  15. yeah & holden have got a new statesperson.
  16. i got rid of it by raising temp & dosing as directed on day 1, 75% water change & redose on day 2, day 3 repeat the water change & redose. it hasn't come back since.
  17. what does a gin look like? i can't remember!
  18. have you had it before? to get rid of it the once i had it i dosed as directed on day 1, day two i did a 75% water change & repeated the dose as directed. Same again on day 3 & it went away after that & has not returned. that looks like a large clown, what size is it?

    Hi From Southland

Hello, don't go near the beach.
  20. cool, how much like the sun are the standard lights that are most commonly used? my fry get sun light as i put their tank next to the window to grow algae so they always have something to eat & grow like i feed them steroids but they have no tube lighting.
  21. maybe the little retards get a deformed spine from swimming into the glass all the time  i know that africans don't need light at all.
  22. I am interested in this comment, fry of what species need light. is it just guppies? the reason i ask is that none of my grow out tanks for africans have lights at all.
  23. it is just like the trickle hood filters. about the only issue you may have that i think of is getting enough (not too much) flow into it & make sure the outlet holes are large enough. those systems can generate quite a bit of noise in a gargling sound.
