did you mention to the person in question that you didnt think they were taking proper care of the animals?
offer a bit of help or even just some advice is prob the decent thing to do..
I actually feel more confident sending turtles then i do fish with water.
Wonder what the full story is, as Ive sent and had sent to me various turtles of all sizes over the past few years. Without a glitch.
Got to love how one bad egg can cause such drama.
Glad ive sold most of my turtles and dont have a tank of hatchlings ready to go.
ive been hearing this for a few weeks. Thought he would of cracked out the whistle by now.
Started putting in more food over the past few days so time will tell the men from the boys lol. Im sure when they do start whistling ill be regretting it, with them not far from where i sleep
thats website is a goody to
eating a fish for food. rite on
but eating (swallowing) a fish for the heck of it.... not cool
seems to be an advertising stunt and or for entertainment, thats just wrong imo
Anyone else noticed this? I think theyre just warming up. As they make little chirpy noises (like a bird almost) with the odd grunty half hearted croak (hard to explain). They seem to get set off when my litoria aurea croak but still waiting to hear the full blown whistle....will get them on camera one of these days. Prob is as soon as they see/hear me coming they seem to stop. Maybe im hearing things
Fascinating little frogs, seem to be trying to imitate the l. aurea which i find interesting.
Often if you point out that theyre packed very well and you (the sender) understand its at your own risk. There shouldnt be a problem.
The inconsistency is frustrating I agree. But the people who complain to and or about the courier companies who are just doing their job dont do much good for anyone imo.
As a whole the courier companies are very good when you weigh up the volumes of parcels sent compared to the amount of parcels which get damaged/delayed.
Client just asked about these (or similar product) as to whether or not safe for lizards.
anyway i like...just need to win lotto and ill be ordering some

Must of been someone sneaky, maybe even 2
I was thinking more along the lines of. If they got them back, then the person who "assisted" with the return of the reptiles may of had something to say for themselves, or just there involvement..
my tanks are very simple. = easy care
basically upto 2inch water and a bit of driftwood with javamoss for the land area.
huge fan of javamoss here, grows in low to moderate light in water and out/over driftwood etc
no lighting here other than a little from the frog tanks next to them.
newts do remain on the driftwood for most of there time until they mature (about 2years).
weekly i do a good 50-75% water change. very hardy little amphibians
