When you say Green Flame, are these the same as Green Fire, Aphyicharax rathbuni? If so, be careful when you select them, I have seen a lot of very 'crooked' ones lately with nasty bent spines. I have two, they coloured up really well when they settled into our tank, they were a bit washy when I first got them, but they had a bit of a long winded journey before we got them!

My male has been nicknamed 'Mr Bully' by my daughter because he chases the female around if she shows herself, along with any other fish who catch his eye. Do you have plenty of places for her to hide? I have a heavily planted tank, so my lady has plenty of hidey holes. He constantly makes bubble nests, and they frequently breed, but he still chases her every opportunity he gets. I have read somewhere that they are supposed to swim together like a happy couple - ha! Not my pair.

Hi Skippy You can also add images from Photobucket by copying the 'Img' tag, select it, then right click it and select 'copy' Then just paste it directly into you post by right clicking and selecting 'paste'. The Img tags are put there automatically.

Neat pics. Sebastian is a stunning shrimp! There is nothing like filling up your memory card with fish pics, only to have a few that are in focus, or don't have a blurred fish zipping past!

What else can I feed my fry? They are three weeks old now, a couple are much larger than the rest, but not big enough to start eating the smaller ones - yet. They eat BBS and graze on the green stuff off the side of the tank and sponge filter. Should I just feed them on BBS, or should I look at Microworms or wingless fruit fly?

Will the tanks shuffle off the shelves in this event? Should she have some kind of footing around the bottom of the tanks, eg a board screwed to the front and sides of the shelf that sits up about 25mm?
