  1. If it is deep enough (front to back), why don't you just put a taller plant in front of the heater to hide it?
  2. Mitre 10 do a daylight range of powersaving lamps, the Osram ones are best. Check the end of the box to make sure it says 6500K as the colour temperature. You won't get any thing that you class a 'cheap' from the electrical wholesalers in the two foot range, it is not a common size as far as their purchasing goes, and for the base batten fitting alone you are probably looking at the thick end of seventy dollars trade, that is without lamps, reflector or wiring.
  3. Ok, now you are just being silly... Back on topic, nice pics Vee. Tell me, how do these things not do themselves a mischief with a tongue that seems to just fold up like paper in their mouths?
  4. Subject line changed in first post... Just to keep Aquatopia quiet!
  5. Ahhhh... the closet Trekkies are coming out of the woodwork....
  6. ....finding it difficult to suppress the urge to say something smart about Yabbie and Watercress boil-up....
  7. I would hazard a guess a watercress - Nasturtium microphyllum/officinale.
  8. Are these the ones that only open in the evening?
  9. Look at Georgia now! I'm really pleased that Georgia is now so relaxed and eating so well and especially that her eyes are back to normal! Amazing what a good shot of Vit A can do From Donna

    Hi All

    Hi and welcome.
  11. Since you are getting technical, you had better add my age as well - 45 edit - oops, I lie... 44, not 45 for a few months yet - it is confusing, it changes every year!
  12. You keep spelling things like this and I may take your keyboard away! persevering Hasty delicate
  13. The one on page 4 And you had better add me to the girly side, phoenix.
  14. Careful boys, the graph is pretty even, I would watch what you were saying if I were you...
  15. Pheonix, stop posting on here until you have done your assignments! We will not be held responsible for your marks if you spend too much time creating pretty charts in excel because they are more interesting than your chosen area of study!
  16. Since this thread is about fishy people in relation to star signs, you should only be able to include your partner if they are a fishy person, not just a fish tolerant person, otherwise the results will not be correct...
  17. You are missing the crab - Cancer
  18. Gee pheonix, you think that 3420LPH filtration for this size tank is a tad overboard as well?
  19. That would be Mum to you, thank you very much !
  20. Clowns tend to hang around the surface most of the time, CPD's would be nice, but these tend to hide in the bushes a lot... Just chuck a sponge filter in.

  22. Ahh, that's it Streptocarpus - Cape Primrose
  23. Sera do a nice small 25 or 50w heater, not cheap though. I got mine sent to me from World of Water in Hamilton, bought it online.
  24. All the fish you are referring to are Colisa lalia, regardless of whether they are blue, red or classic red blue striped. The females are all grey/silver for any of the colour morphs. PM AquaFever, they had some out the back of the shop a while back.
