I havent had any ill or sick fish in my tank that I use it in and it has probably been at least 6 months. Yup neutral ph with not much hardness. Parry, I only have a few my self with 4 fry that I am growing to put back in my tank.

Do you mean pool filter sand? Is that the same thing? I have some in my tank. But if you mean for Africans I dont think it will give you any water chemistry advantages over coral sand or calcite/dolomite.

"WE" know they are easy to tell apart so why cant the wholesaler or whoever get it right??!! I mean a female socolofi is the same colours as a male and the female of Kingsizei are plain jane grey! Most if not all kingsizei that i have seen are actually socolofi as well :-? As I ordered a pair in through LFS and they were ps. socolofi.
