  8. Hey fishyt, the ones that I would think that could be available would be lamprologus leleupi $25 or lamprologus brichardi $20-30 at a guess. Billaney has some leleupi fry at the moment he's in welly's. At the moment I have some lamprologus pulcher fry ranging from bout 2cm - 4cms that are from the lake. This website has a picture of an adult: http://www.tropheus.info/riftlakes/cich ... her_e.html

    Kenyi

I have a kenyi of a decent size but it is not blue or orange/gold. I was wondering if he is not coloring up due to water or because there is no need since there is no female in sight for him at the moment. his colors at the moment are silvery/purple with dark vertical stripes and orange tinge on dorsal fin and 3 spots on anal fin. Does anybody know what the go is? :-?
  11. Congrates!!! Awesome pictures!!! Use to have a couple myself they really are cool looking plecs. I'm sure next time when you sell you wont have a problem selling the little suckers!!!
  12. How do you know for certain if you have a female? If a yellow has a little black in the pectoral? and anal fins can it still be a female? i'm pretty sure i have a male cause his black is very bold in the dorsal and other fins. It's just that a couple of the other yellows display to one another and go around in circles with the bottom of there mouths sticking out.
  13. Bolivian Rams are a very good community fish they are a dwarf cichlid like the Kribs. Hope that helps i'm also sure that many other people will be able to tell you more than I
  14. I forgot to mention that they say you can tell sexes from the length of there extensions on the fins. Males are supposed to be bigger bodied and when they get bigger the males apparently get a hump on the forehead when mature/full size. Hope this helps you out blue/kim
  15. I'm not to sure anymore :-? They might be like my Pulchers "Daffodil" cause they have yellow dorsal fins and yellow round the eyes and yellow around the start of the side fins. They really good parents make sure they dont take over your tank though!! Check with these pictures http://www.tropheus.info/riftlakes/cichlids/neolamprologus_pulcher_e.html
  16. They should be ok assuming that the ph is similar to the tank they are going in, ive seen a few African tanks with algae eaters in them.
  17. Been doing some more snooping and these photo's of Neolamprologus Olivaceus look close. What do you reckon? :-? http://www.cichlidlovers.com/n_olivaceus.htm
  18. I have a pair of lamprologus Pulchers they have the 2 vertical check bars but your ones still look like "brichardi" except for those markings. I thought they were Red dot brichardi maybe, but they still have the one up one across as well. So Sorry to get you no further
