i have seen a gold fish that was in a pond all by its self for many years and it was over 1/2meter, was caught with a fishing rod, line hook and sinker

Yea mate, i could be keen, and id drag Helen along to hold the camera :D

Where would you relocate it to??? got a unused swimming pool?

ITS HUGE :o

We have a large round dam at our farm... Not quite as big as this pond its in now, but would be half the size almost. I wonder if I block of the stream part if we could put him in there?? The waters a bit dirty and has eels in it but that might not matter... Now in getting ideas

I am tempted to get him... First I need to ask my grandparents permission to use the dam, then I need to catch the thing :o

I wonder if I can get away with it... :D

im interested in catching the beast and relocating it, anyone else want in?

i am in and lets get it in the books of records if its truly that size.

there is more pics up on the auction and its either a pearl scale or it's sick with dropsy which would explain why it's only recently been sited cuz its hanging around the surface from been ill.
