Fay
They can eat fish, however i doubt it would eat a sixline That's what I think too but do they sneak up on them at night?
JoeBlog
Yup, that's the one!! He gobbled a BIG damsel! In saying that, I had two of those in may tank for ages (much smaller than my mates though) that never ate any fish.
Fay
Well I can't take the chance of losing anymore beautiful fish I am going to kill it but it's going to take a while he hides in the rock work and I don't want to move any rock now it's taken a year to get the tank rock work looking just spot on. reef
Get a stocking and put some mussel in it. Let it hang in the tank. The brittle star will come out in a matter of seconds.
Fay
Thanks for that reef Oh and Frog has thrown a fit because I am going to kill it  If I can get it out without killing it will it be O.K. in my fuge or will eat all my pods? Fay
So it can eat someone's fish
reef
I dont really think it is the brittle stars fault, it needs food to live. Second you it is not 100% gauranteed that it killed the six line . you would think a sixline would be way to quick. anemoes can also eat fish, maybe you need to remove them
Fay
O.K. I will put him in the fuge then

reef
Lucky you did not kill the brittle star as it looks like it was not him to blame for the sixline They say innocent until proven guilty beyond reasonable doubt
