F15hguy
Most you see are unwanted pets that have been dumped :an!gry I tend to find most wild turtles are actually well loved pets that have escaped. have a list at work of 5 local ones that have owners waiting for them... reptilez
surprisingly the $2 shop nets are pretty good
disgustipated
For a better net? I have another one that is meant to clean swimming pools so has a straight edge and more loose netting than the other. Wouldn't trust a net from the $2 Shop! i got some of my best fish/critters with a $2 shop net.

Caryl
No idea but I figured it might give it a go. Can you imagine a turtle coughing up a fur ball? :bggrn: I haven't seen any sign of the turtle the past 2 days. Perhaps it went off to search for somewhere soft to lay eggs - won't find anywhere on our section for that!
Mel
I doubt it, turtles eat in water ... well unless the cat "fell" in, then perhaps maybe :sml1:
