mcrudd
Not outside on a beautiful day like today? Or is it raining again up there Biked into town and had lunch with friends. Wish we could, but Stef is still a bit unwell with her tummy every now and then. So its indoors near the white throne for us. Also the reason we did not go fishing as well, both Me and Stef love fishing, she is quite the little fisherwoman
Joe
I hate the horrible weather we've been having these last few days I wish it would rain again :happy2: The temperature of my aquarium was sitting at 30C, so I did a 50% waterchange with cold tapwater. That got the temp down to about 25C and the plants are looking a lot happier
Sophia
and I am just glad that the sun is out, though it will be shortlived by the look of the weather map :yaw2:

SamH
Skylla got attacked last night, taking her to the vet soon cause she's still limping. Also it has come to my attention that some of you may think I work at Animates, however this is not the case sadly
Sophia
I must admit I did interpret the post in your other thread to mean you did have a job there
SamH
I guess it did seem like I confirmed it but I was actually just confirming I have a job Turns out Skylla just had a small wound on her foot that made her limp, she's been treated with antibiotics and pain relief. She no longer limps now. We also have a new addition to the family, a wee minilop called Luna is staying with us for a week while my friend (her owner) goes on holiday. Just gotta keep her and Radar apart now

Joe
I posted a thread about my remaining Apistogramma trifasciata having dropsy in the disease section, and she fully recovered. However, she got pop-eye a while later, and then got dropsy again. Yesterday she looked so bad I decided to put her out of her misery. So I lost all four of my trifasciata, $45.00 each and I didn't even get a chance to breed them properly (I did get some fry in the tank and put them in a net breeder, but they got sucked through the mesh by the other fish and eaten)
Sophia
poor Joe - so who's left?
SamH
Just watching Luna run around the back yard, apparently her new favourite thing to do it tease Radar. She runs past his hutch and gets him all excited so he tries to follow her. Must. not. let. bunnies. out
Joe
poor Joe - so who's left? I lost two Trigonopoma pauciperforata ages ago - one jumped out of the tank, and one got infected with something and they're only $4 fish so I destroyed it to protect the rest of my fish. I sold my Black Neons, and I did lose two Emperor Tetras to dropsy but it was unrelated to the Apistogramma trifasciata dying - I think they got it from overfeeding. Whenever I feed blackworms the Emperors are so annoying! I have to chase them away and try not to feed them too much because they gorge themselves. Joe
Thanks I don't really like the colouration on those fish though, and I'm also not interested in cacatuoides at the moment - I just want to stick to smaller species like the trifasciata. The male in the 3rd pic doesn't look very nice at all either. It would be cool if we got some bitaeniata, I really want those :bounce: I'm getting some more trifasciata from Danval. He said some aren't sexable yet, and that so far he can only tell males. So I'm just going to wait until all the fish are sexable because I don't want to end up with a group of fighting males
antwan
It would be cool if we got some bitaeniata, I really want those :bounce: I miss my old ones, I'd definitely set up some breeding tanks if they came back.
