Joe
Now, do you have any photos for me? I wish. I suck at taking photos  (well it's not easy with a camera that's not made to take photos of stuff in a tank). Wow phoenix those pics are incredible :happy1:
phoenix44
Zev would poke me if the standard was any lower. I don't intend to receive the stick treatment, even if i have magical blocking abilities!
antwan
Here's a few: Hemianthus micranthemoides Rotala macrandra Ludwigia arcuata - I'm sure you'll get better pics of this one. Not entirely sure what this is, must be some type of Rotala Not sure of this either, but this is the emersed of what I thought was aromatica, but isn't. Mine looks too scabby submerged to get a good pic of.
phoenix44
Love the Hemianthus! L. Glandulosa L. Arcuata - very hard to photograph if it's not against a black background Glosso Tiger Lotus (green)
Bishop
I have previously posted stargrass, macrandra and rotundifolia pics. Here they are again They didn't have pics of them on http://www.fnzas.org.nz/index.php?PG=plant hence my offering to help.
phoenix44
Sorry bud, didn't mean to negate what you said. I had posted those pics on a thread we have going on in a separate section where Alan, Simon and I plan a few things to do with the plant committee (and ages ago in the plant section). Please post the pictures you have because we need as much help as we can get from our members. We just thought a large picture dump of what we have collected so far would inspire the budding photographers on this forum to get clicking! Bishop
No stress, just always feel the need to explain my self round here  I will post them if they are in good nick. fingers x'd That L. Glandulosa is lush and I had been meaning to ask you what the name of that Tiger Lotus was, problem solved.
supasi
Also, when you post photos here for use in database please advise what you want the photos credited as, Forum Name or Real Name. If forum name say so in post with images but if real name please PM me your name. Thanks PS, photos that are on the new database are not viewable to anyone yet so just post them up and we will sort through them. Some on the current plant page now have images but as we said, the more the better. We also want images of plants you have that are not on the current list also. IE H micranth.... currently does not exist but does on the new database. This will become a handy resource for members to identify the plants they have and be able to see what they look like in different forms, ie submersed vs emersed. Please thanks

supasi
P44, can I suggest you go easy on the saturation in Post production. It tends gives the plants an unnatural appearence. Otherwise awesome photos, keep em coming. Reminder that we need some good images of Java Moss and Java fern.
phoenix44
I only played with the ISO setting on the camera with the ozelot flower pics :-? It was either that or manual mode

I have pics of a flower from one Not sure I have any photos of the plant. It's at the back of the tank so it's hard to photograph.
alanmin4304
There are at least two types of L. glandulosa about I think. Not sure of the names though. The colours are similar to Alternanthera--one is red and the other more purple. I suspect the purple one is the one in the pic.
antwan
I think I have the red variant, I'll try get some photo's when I'm home.
alanmin4304
I don't have either now but I grew them both emersed a while ago and the colour and form were quite different. Both need pretty good light and all the dramas I would suspect.
