First the head came out then it crawled up the stem of the plant, I ran for the camera. Video is uploading now. Though the hose wasnt switched on, and I had flushed it before walking to the tank and dropping it in. And look at the video, that slug doesnt look like its drowning, it looks very much at home in the water. Its still alive, living in the substrate. Just means they don't immediately drown. I've found buckets and other containers left outside with drowned worms and slugs in the bottom. I just think they can hold their breath for a long time.
