phoenix44
Thank you kindly! eggs are still bright and healthy. Appear to be 100% fertilized! there is a slight white mark at the edge of one egg, so I will monitor that closely.

phoenix44
3 Infertile eggs. So I popped them and removed the casings. Boy were they leathery and strong! eggs glued to each other too.
Aquila
From my experience with angel eggs, popping the white ones causes the fungus to spread easier to surrounding eggs. Best to try and remove the whole egg. Let me know how you get on! 3 Infertile eggs. So I popped them and removed the casings. Boy were they leathery and strong! eggs glued to each other too. phoenix44
Well done, any faces yet? They look slightly more developed, but that's about it. I'm growing Planaria in this tank too. Babies should like natural things to eat.
phoenix44
This is one of the parents. Not sure if it is the male or the female as the pic was taken before the male developed his whiskers.

phoenix44
DAY 6 So I remove any yellow opaque eggs as they come up. Removed another 4-5 just now. That brings the total up to about 8-9 non-viable eggs. As I removed the fungus from one of the eggs I spotted a tiny set of eyes and a whiptail body as I pulled it out. It's quite exciting really. Can't wait for the wrigglers. Then the challenge starts.
