The men using Morse code used it when writing their messages I am sure you have also all seen the speed test done between some teen texters ad a couple of Morse men in their 80's. The Morse guys won. David R
I'd like to see that test re-done with someone using a cellPHONE for its intended purpose, ie making a phonecall....

Caryl
An English professor wrote the words, “Woman without her man is nothing” on the blackboard and directed his students to punctuate it correctly. The men wrote: “Woman, without her man, is nothing.” The women wrote: “Woman: Without her, man is nothing.”
livingart
punctuation is something you get un a bicycle tyre is not it?
Caryl
no I think that is deflation Of course there are those who would claim that was a result of the punctuation
Zev
I'd like to see that test re-done with someone using a cellPHONE for its intended purpose, ie making a phonecall.... Would that be on the XT network, or not?
Southerrrngirrl
I don't particularly hate predictive txt, can be frustrating at times. I find it difficult when I've just bought a new phone. I once txt the husband that I'd booked the BBQ in for a warrant.
Caryl
Did it pass? Many people don't think to check the tread on their BBQ tyres often enough!!
Southerrrngirrl
I believe it needed 2 new tyres to pass the warrant. And possibly a park light
Caryl
You have to be careful of the hand brake too. It often comes loose.
Ira
I'd like to see that test re-done with someone using a cellPHONE for its intended purpose, ie making a phonecall.... Fastest speaker record is around 11 words per second, fastest morse code is around .5 so if texters lost to morse code they're obviously even slower. David R
Should we factor in the time it takes to learn a second language so you cab understand morse code?
Cricketman
I hate predictive.
