Finally finished the new pond!

Hey ya'll!

Finished the pond last weekend, finally took some snaps! 3 weekends of work!

Most of the rocks were there so we had to move them out, then dig the pond, add the lining and put the rocks back.

(thank god it doesn't leak I really don't want to re-live that experience again!)

It looks bigger than the pics.

Home to my 8 goldfish and I'm currently growing some tadpoles out back and when they're frogs I will add them and hope they stay.

wow, that is AWESOME!!!

Some serious rocks there :)

:hail:

...tell me about it...

We had to hire a hand truck to move them because my dad wouldn't bring his mini-digger up...

Was still a mission! But well worth it and the goldfish are much more happy in there than the 100L bucket they've been

in since we moved here a few months back!

awesome :hail:, you should stick some natives in there

Was considering that but no room left. Don't want it too over-crowded.

Plus it's situated in full sun. Those rocks get quite warm, the water doesn't get super warm,

but too warm for natives I would imagine.

Great pond, well done. Love those rocks.

Mine is still in progress, 50,000 litres (yes 50,000 litres) and 7k later, and I still havent stocked or planted it yet!!!

Hired a big digger and he dug me a kidney shaped pond. Its nearly a lake lol.

WOW! can't wait to see some pic of it :bounce: :bounce:
