From memory it was always the contacts that needed cleaning, and Im pretty sure the Big red train (dutchess of abercorn) drives from the tender and contacts on the train. The little black train is the opposite. Be nice if you got em going, they should be getting close to being antiques so would look nice amoungst all the thomas stuff How the Guppy situation going too?
