I've always stuck with the rule if you can't afford to lose it then don't gamble it hence why I haven't gambled :D

I'm slowly getting there, I might go through the garage in the weekend and see if there's anything worth flicking off on TM and I've given up my coke addiction and just to clarify I mean coca cola not the buzy nose stuff :wink:

I'm sure I'm going to enjoy the clinic alot more if I've had to work hard to get there.

Pitty it's not summer otherwise I could take the pony down to the beach and give rides for some $$$$$ then he could work to go too.

That is a good idea except I'm a gumboots and trackpants girl since moving to a lifestyle block and staying at home with the kids, I use to have office type clothes when I worked but they went out ages ago alas I'm not a fashion girl I only bother with make up and nice clothes when going out.

I will have a look however as I bet there is something in there that I haven't worn in a while.

Childcare is hard to come by. Would you consider contacting Porse to find out if they need any short term caregivers for other children. They love Mums as caregivers because Mums tend to have all the know how and also appreciate how precious children are. If you have two extra children for say 3 days, and even if you only charge $7 per child per hour, you'd have your cash. I do it almost full time and it is a great way to earn money.

Do what I do!

(note: you will need an incubator for this) and possibly lots more time than 3 weeks, but that is sufficient time to hatch the eggs.

You go on trademe and buy eggs from heritage breeds of chooks... at like $30.00 a dozen and then you hatch them out and sell them for $30 a hen (less for a rooster) but, 6 hens = $180 and then what you get for the roosters usually covers the eggs, postage, power and food until they are old enough.

This done on a large scale = $$$

=) it's all I could contribute...

Yes my aunty works for porse and that is a good idea and I thought of doing it over the school holidays to but the only thing is that we live about 15min from town so I'd have to find someone on our road who needs a caregiver as I doubt people would want to drive an extra 1/2hr every day to drop off and pick up kids. Our place would be good for the kids as we have alsorts of animals and lots of different toys for outside and in.

The egg idea is a good one but I only have a week and a half to go and $150 to find

You could include pick up and drop off as part of your service? That is waht I have done with a few people.
