Romeo
I had a carnivorous mystus catfish in with 4 tetras for 2 weeks, no dramas, got up one day and he'd eaten two. Give him time ;P.

nemines
yet another week of the epic show "Survivor, platy island" and nobody has been knocked off! He seems to be the most gentle oscar when being hand-fed too, instead of lunging at my hand he comes up and kisses it!
phoenix44
lol. that's awesome. i remember seeing pics on the net a long time ago with this tank that had oscars and neons etc in it, and the smaller fish were not troubled. you must post pics of this friendly oscar. I know oscars are very intelligent, mine used to recognise me (as many other owners on the net) - and knew to stay far away from mum, lol.
