if there were snakes legally in nz, i would have....10

i used to own two pythons in philippines.

it was kept in a modified pig cage. male and female, never bred, but sold it to someone that bred it.

i dont quite remember, as the snakes there are usually mislabelled, but it was more than 5 foot long

ate whole adult chickens wiht ease it was wicked!

you dont have to live in the us to own a snake, ive got 1 brisbane python and i love as a pet, feed it once a week and they are happy!!i cant beleave that they dont even have snakes at the zoo!! thats just poor man.

well aussie is just 3 hours away from nz and they dont allow snake that are not EVEN venomous! i might have to send a snake to nz and see what happens lol but whats funny is that in nz they are allowed dragon lizards and when they bite they hert more than a snake bite , plus if the dragon lizards didnt have legs it would almost look like a snake!!

Awww I love snakes, would love a Reticulated Python.... so beautiful... I guess it is a good thing they are not allowed here in NZ... however, if I ever moved overseas a snake would definately be a must in our household...

Came across this pic.... wonder how comfortable that guy is
