The Great White Hand
I would like to see a picture of this fish! Loopy told me about this Discus, but by the time I got in, John had sold it. If anyone on the forum has it, please post a picture. Regards, TGWH

Adrienne
Chances are it will end up not being someone from here - probably someone who though it looked pretty and will pop it in their community tank. :-?

The Great White Hand
Wilson, do you think that members of this forum are so gullable that they will believe you weren't there when the fish was sold? Regards, TGWH

Loopy
It looked a lot like this Very pretty fish. My hunch was it was a female. (often proven wrong though) With the price that i was suggested i hope it will possibly be bred from.
Jo0sh
hi could you please tell me why this discus is so special? is it just a personal preference? rare or something? i prefer discus with a bit of colour personally
livingart
its a bit like breeding a white peacock i suppose, hard to do wouldnt it be a nice base for some of the other colour varieties though?
Loopy
i think it is a special fish for a number of reasons. -I have not seen many discus that are a solid clean colour like this. Pretty much everything i have ever seen has had markings or shadings of different colour unlike this fish. - I just thought it was simply a fine example of a discus (the particular fish in discussion) - I have heard that the lighter colour discus's are harder to breed because the fry when first hatched will head towards the darkest object in the tank. And if mum and dad are pale white, well you work it out. I guess that would make for losses of fry and essentially a rarer colour variety. penguinleo
Hmmm...there are two clean white coloured discus in Hollywood fish farm, Albany. They don't have any specks or spots as well...just pure white. They are at a gud price too!
