All Controllable streams have fish care function, what that means is when you have two, the second stream will rotate the impeller every minute or so until it is going full on again.
Only the nano 6055 can this, the other nanos can not be controlled as they stay on all the time like a powerhead.
Most skimmers in terms on what volume they will do are over stated by the manufacture. Who knows how they rate the skimmers.
Deltec for example give you a high load and low load specs on what the skimmer will do.
May be so but as Layton said. "Be realistic. You know that when people hear refugium, they think sand, macro, pods etc." most book also state that a refugium is a place to house pods, snails etc, so that the fish cant eat them.
Not sure it is a refugium.
Basically two 4ft tanks running on the same system as the main tank with coral and fish. All bare bottom with no sand.
I always thought a refugium was a tank that housed algae and sand.
I found most of the tanks where pretty average and outdated. Pitty they did not have any of the modern tanks that are around these days.
Maybe volume two will be out someday.
You live to far in the bush
I will bring my torch over.
You are trying to be funny. My camera had problems taking photos because it was so dull with you last bulbs.
Not criticising at all. just fact.
They are not luminarc and the new bulbs would have made a huge difference, as they so much brighter. reflector is only as good as the light source.
Would the bulbs not have made a bigger improvement? My torch was brighter than the blue bulbs you had previously.
They are not luminarcs. cheap copies, you cant get luminarcs in NZ.
I dont really think it is the brittle stars fault, it needs food to live.
Second you it is not 100% gauranteed that it killed the six line . you would think a sixline would be way to quick.
anemoes can also eat fish, maybe you need to remove them
