Yes but if I put water in the tank then it will be too full and no room for fishies...so do I put fishies in the stand :lol: :lol:

Kim&Dan & Sharn...I was wondering the same thing about the wood rotting. Does anybody know????? Also, I know its good for plecos, ah other algae eaters too? And do they actually eat the wood?

Yep, agree Tsmarina wouldn't be me either! When my husband & I were together someone dropped off lobsters for us, called him & he said YOU have to cook them I'm going to be late! I screamed everytime I put one in and when he got home I told them if it happened again they'd rot (not nice either) because that was my first & last time cooking lobsters.

I have had to do that with a couple of my fishies that were in really bad shape, after all efforts to save failed But, they were small ones, I don't know what I'd do if a bigger one was in that situation. Must ask my vet the next time I'm there just to see what they would suggest.

I'm glad your calm...I've been told more than once here to calm down, I sorta, kinda, DO have a tendency to panic :lol: :lol: :lol: Could be, the first time I noticed one of my neons with a fat tummy, PANIC :lol: :lol: , thought dropsy , posted some pics here and discovered the egg carrying thingy. An oh, aren't they just little buggers when your trying to catch them :evil: :evil:

Hmmm, as I posted in the disease section I think :-? anyway to make a long story short...the breeding trap is for a sick platy, its made of plastic and has openings in the bottom. (thought there were tiny wholes on the top too until closer inspection, not! After reading this, I'm wondering if there would be enough air circulation, it's only small & an airstone would be too powerful.
