Yip. My shrimp have been in my tank for just on 18 months and I assume were about 6 months at the time. I assume max tank size is about as large as they get. About 3 inchs maybe 3.5 inchs (not including feellers) Cheers

A marine tank is alot of work (300litres)... my next reef will be between 100-200 litres. Anemones only, and fully automated... Sometimes I get sick of all the work... Then someone visits and they are amazed and It fills me with pride and I continue on. Cheers

They said they would look at the claim and send me a letter. I suspect this is the standard get stuffed letter from them. Saves people ringing up and abusing them....

Yet again they broke a package... Anyone got time to glue a 150watt metal haldie back together. They crushed it flat.... pr*****ks I say don't use them anymore.. Dumb couriers (Courier Post).. get a brain, and learn to drive oh .... and how about putting the small packages on top of the big ones..... Oh and door to door delivery..... yeah right yet again in my letter box.. :evil:

nearly three months now. The pics are out of order.. The worst ones are when it was first introduced, then a bit of bleaching and then now. PS my camera does not really get the colour very well due to reflection.

Vasoline worked for about 4 hours (was as silent as a church mouse. Any other ideas for lube. (i'm going to here about it now..... what for slappers response )

I have seen my cleaner shrimp actually pull poo..... out of my tangs bottom. Maybe a cleaner shrimp may remove the blockage. word of advice (DON"T) put your shrimp in water which is at 1.008 salt mix. Also to long with your tang in that salt mix could seriously damage his internals.. Good luck

I double the suggested time to two hours with the lights off for my new inverts. Fingers crossed and touch wood. seems to have worked so far. Cheers

I cleaned it yesterday and now it sounds like a jumbo jet.......... Ripped it to pieces 10plus times...... its driving me nuts... anyone got any ideas..... cheers

Yip I would say two different feeding points at each end of the tank. Tangs are know for being agressive towards each other. (love my spelling)

I us a aqua one magnet scrubber for the daily algae.($20) Then once a week I pull out the magna-float. (the best scrubber I have ever used) It takes off any algae you could find. (not cheap but well worth it.($40)

yip... for special dipping if the fishes got really sick. (in a seperate dipping container)

I believe that due to a more complete eco-system created by a marine tank stops fish from as much illness. Freshwater tanks always gave me issues with health and spend hundreds over the years on the blue fish tonic. I bought one bottle of copper solution 4 my marine tank and its still in my stand getting covered in dust.

To kill a tank........... If i was to do it I would just add copper...... or round up that would do the trick. way better... maybe bleach........ Not by saalt dilution Must be a mistake shame.... Thats just my opinion though

18 fish in that 230litre tank.. That sounds like an extreme stocking level. I have 8 in 300litres and think I am a bit gready. It has caused nitrate problems for me in the pastI wonder if he gets any problems with his nitrates.
