In summer you may need a chiller.$$$
But on livestock you will save thousands of $$$$.
There are many very cool things in local rock pools.
Good luck. and welcome to marine fish keeping

I know how cold the water is at the moment..
Surfed raglan for 2.5 hrs on thursday.. Before collecting my water..
Got booties, titanium wetsuit, and surfers cap.. and still sssssssoooooooo cold...
Two years ago surfed 4hrs midwinter thats really cold...
(oh yeah my point is) the surf web sight says its 15.3 degrees in the water... I will check it out next time.. maybe even lower
I don't even check my nsw anymore.
Just goes in. maybe because of its temperature, the salt levels read differently.
I would just bang it in... just me though
Can you dose (flatworm exit) with an anemone in the tank.
I think I may have introduced a rock (a couple of weeks ago) which may have had a couple on it.
Safe instead of sorry if you know what I mean.
Cheers
Hey guys what is the ph range in your marine tanks at these different times.
Ie. morning, midday, afternoon, just after lights out, midnight, just before lights on.
Cheers for your help.
Hey what is the stand mixing ratio to increase my KA?
I know there is another thread. But just need to know for my tank.
Hey also what is the chemical compound of baking soda...
I read an article last night.
Two bubble aneomnes side by side.
One was a white with purple tips, the other a rose bubble.
I cannot find the site now.
Has anyone else seen this, I looks really cool.
They live happily side by side, I thought they would try to eat each other.
Cheers
I bought seafood mix from countdown to feed my anemone.
baby octopus (anemone loves), squid (nothing eats, so throw away), mussel (goes down well) as does shrimp and clam.
Costs $8.00 for 500 gram froozen. Get value
Cheers
Maxima clam.
Ph abou 8.0

nitrite 0ppm
nitrate 20 ppm
New halide 150 watt, about 70 cm away under medium-low current.
I currently use no reef additives at all. and use natural sea water.
Interesting about info so far.
I have had him for a year now and he doesn't look so stoaked with things.
Just saw JDM's tank today his one is growing at twice the rate.
Any ideas on how to get him on track again.
Cheers
If you get natural sea water, add it within the day..
Full of all sorts of natural interesting stuff I think. Seems to feed all my corals.... Just the odd hitchiker.
Crabs all good so far, and limpits
Set aside a day to move this puppy.
Oh take into account. The first things you take out. will be the last things you put back in..
Get tons of fresh sea water as it will be needed when you move things around..
Good luck, and take your time.
OH and welcome to the forum
