I'll be coming tonight, but have to shoot off just after 10pm to get the bus home - if i don't get the last bus at 10:15pm then the only other one goes right into auckland city, then another back the other way to sandringham :roll: Nutty... is there anyone else in my area that drives and would like to car pool in future? lol some of those "bursting" comments are a bit funny. I've never seen a female THAT swollen with eggs though. A pair i have that spawned got put back in the community tank afterwards, and he's started chasing her and she's really full at the moment, but not that big... Makes me wonder if it is just eggs...

I got one of those kits, but with a larger tank. I don't use the gravel or plant etc but the filter is great - i have some tiny baby yellow labs in there

Meesheely - HFF Frost Rd occasionally have salt and/or brackish puffers (bigger, and not quite so cutesy). The itty bitty freshies that you and i are after have been much more elusive - i think when we PM'd each other regarding finding some i mentioned that i last saw them well over a year ago and have been on a "waiting list" ever since (maybe they lost the list... :evil: ) Anyway, I wouldn't try my luck with them in a comm. tank - aside from some naughty fin nipping they could cause some real damage and the losses suffered would not be worth having a cute puffer in with your other fish for a while (IMO) :lol:

Hmmm, mine aren't that much bigger - the runt is 4cm and the other 4 are between 5 and 6cm. maybe the snails are too big but they're munching the baby ones?
