I am wanting to get more fish for my 3ft tank, as I have made space and moved fish around. I am wondering what sort of larger fish would live happily with 1 lonely angel, some b/nose, and now 1 lonely cory (his friend died RIP) I came across a local person, selling a black convict which looks interesting....they also have a green severum, and an oscar 4 sale. Advice aprreciated.

Thanks Jude....you make me laugh :lol: For the yucky gravel.....I dunno......those snails give me grief....but I love em. I have tried to give them away a couple of times....but they look too cool & exotic LMAO. I just don't like the look of plastic plants....I thought I might try my hand at making some caves, and just heaps of different texture rocks etc. For the natives....I can't believe how easily they have adapted....they are all ready racing toward the front of the tank looking for their dinner & even made little caves up....amazing how they use their body to move the rocks. I have to read up on combining the fish....woulc like to have at least another species (these fish are across the road at our backpackers....thought it was a good odea to show off our natives 8) ) I will have to do something about the 2ft tank and backing.....it sits on a small platform under the 3ft.....maybe after I sort out the gravel The angel isn't that big, maybe 40mm in body/100mm including fins? I love him/her though he is very interactive! Thanks for your remarks....very much appreciated

I have been thinking of getting a couple of new fish.....I have always loved the colours of fighters, and have heard lots of different stories about how the react with other fish etc. Can 1 male and a female or 2 live happiliy in a community tank? or are they better in their own species tank.....or do they all have to be sepperated? What is their ideal tank setup? Anyone know where there are any nice ones for sale in the North or Auckland ....oh and what is the average price? Many thanks,
