  1. first teach your cat to distinguish between native and non native, then you do the same so you know weather or not to mount a rescue mission? `if you want to be sure` about what ID?I know, that you are dealing with a bunch of twits! be the day when you catch me doing their dirty work for them.Could be today that they decide at their whim to put bts`s into the same category, think on that?
  2. get plenty of gut loaded locusts and/or crickets into him.80% protein (insects) 20% vegetables, ease up on the mealworms, spinach, letteuce as the others mentioned.Calcium suppliments rather than vitamins and get him out into natural sunlight as much as you can.
  3. must be a sign of the times we live in these days?I had pneumonia about 1975? I was hospitalised for a week or so as I recall?

  6. you can take them on the plane no probs, just pack them in as big a box as you can fit into your hand luggage etc comfortably for them and you.damp paper towels wate plants etc so they can sit there and enjoy their trip.what they don`t know don`t hurt

  10. 1st 2 things,most important,one boy frog,one girl frog.
  11. i think a hide is a good thing, gives them somewhere to feel secure and safe as they would in the wild, how would you like to be stared at all day everyday??the fact that they always use them if availble must say something?
  12. don`t worry about what you think they look like.seeing them everyday you probably take a bit for granted without even realising it??all the books/internet I have read say growing lizards 80% protein 20% plant, mature lizards this is reversed??
  13. you might find that you are looking after them too well?fat deposits etc inside the abdomen blocking things up and inhibiting the passage of food and eggs etc? This can be a huge problem with bird breeding.
  14. if its got perotonitis you better get it to vet fast and get some sort of antibiotics into it.

  16. a side note to that pic of yours Donna,a friend had the same thing happen to one of his redears, took it to the vet,who believe it or not did not know what said appendage was and was ready to amputate???An international phone call saved the turtles manhood and it was covered with household sugar, shrunk instantly and went back where it should have been.

  19. still a good thing to do apart from the previous mentioned cons ? first get your eggs.Dig them up as soon as you can after laying.if you do this you don`t have to be too worried about the eggs position .A late discovered nest that has started to develop you would have to be really careful to keep the eggs in the same position as you find them.Get an icecream container, click clack etc and put s few inches of pre moistened vermiculite.Get the weight of the vermiculite and add the same weight of cooled boiled water, mix it well so the moisture is evenly distributed through the medium.add the eggs in rows so they are half in half out,all you have to do is make small depression and put them in it.it should be damp enough that you can squeeze it together in a clump but not squeeze excess water out?Cover your eggs with a damp handee towel etc and put the lid on.put them in your incubatorCheck weekly,if the paper has dried out,re wet it ,if still damp leave it.if it seems to dry out lot you cn dd a smll open container of water, jam jar etc, nothing with too much surface area.Any sign of mould change the paper for fresh one.Temps between 26-30c google will give you more precise temps for sex determination.good luck, you can`t beat the buzz you get when you see the first little head poking out.
  20. got a funny look about it to me?might just be the pics but it looks frosty like you have had it in the freezer overnight. Not overdue for a shed?
