I get the following message and have been getting it for months. I just got it again using Warren's link The following error occurred: * 500 - Connection to remote site failed when trying to access http://paul.aaquaria.com/Enter.html This response is generated when the cache server could not successfully contact the remote server. If this is the only site you cannot access, then it is almost certainly caused by the remote site being offline for some reason. Unfortunately there is little that can be done about this except to wait and try again later when the remote server admins have hopefully fixed whatever is wrong.

I did that once, with a plastic laundry basked. But because i was busy running after three pre-schoolers at the time I just turned off the element when I realised what was happening. Later that day I went to move said basket and it had set solidly to the element ........... which dumbo should have realised it would do :oops: :oops: So I had to melt it again to remove it :oops: :oops: :oops: Cheers Jude

I'm glad all the replies have been so helpful and you are certainly trying hard to fix whatever the problem is. It worries me that the tank smelled bad from when you first set it up, and before anything was added. What substrate did you use? Was it new or from your old tank? Was it well washed first? If the tank smelled when you had nothing in it but water and substrate I would be very suspicious that there might be something wrong with the gravel or whatever you used. Just my thoughts. Once your cold is better you will be able to tell whether the smell has gone or not Best of luck Jude
