Hes starting to eat a bit now but hes spending all his time at the back corners of the tank is this because of his age he is about 2 and a half

I got sand for two reasons frist of all most of our native plants pefer soft sediment and second im going to have mussels and clams in it and they need soft sediment Also all it has is a little air pump because its out side most of its oxygen will come from the many many plants that are going to be in it

So ive filled it with water and planted the frist few plants but its nealy been 24 hours and the water still very cloudy i know its sand particles (thats the sediment i have in there) but is this normal and if so how long shoud it take to settle down

Do not flush them or drown them thats very cruel even crushing them much better
