Get the book freshwater fishes of new Zealand it will tell you where t find them and a whole lot more

First of all you never could get them in lake taupo you could get them in some of the steams that flow into the lake from the geofermal springs and yes you can you you can also find mollies sword tails and maybe platies in those steams

Frist of all fancy can get very big all of mine are 10 cms plus and still griwing about 20l oer golbd fish ehile their still smallish and its good to have lots of plants plant them to the side through or the gold fish will up root them

I would give them some bugs and the the would be full of rocks pants and live food they could snack on.

I used to keep bully's and I've decided to start again and over a few years i would like to get three of each type (two girls and a boy) and i wanted to know a few things are all types of bully's ok to keep in tanks can they all eat normal fish food and is there a universal way to tell the sex of a bully's and if all bullys can breed without the sea

It could be Australian long dins and short fins but they are still self interdueced natives (on a side note are short fin can also be found in australia)

I dont know what a canister filter is but i had a gold fish that lived to eight but i had to put her down because she got swim bladder problems :cry1: :tears: and gold fish have no stomachs of need quite a bit more food then other fish and mine are all big the biggest is about 16 cms long
