Ive kept fresh water crays for many years i woud not feed it carrits but chickets are a good idea heres some other things you shoud feed them beef chicken peas photo cumbers -

It depends if you have some drift wood with nooks and crannies that the bully can go into at night where the crayfish cant reach it it should be okay in till you can move it i would make sure the crayfish always has an easy food supply or it will propoly eat the bully :ske: also make sure feed it both meat and veges Also big bully i had one about a pencil and a half long but it died :cry1: :an!gry &c:ry :tears: -
In tank that size and planted you could also have a small group of SHORT FINNED small tetras such as neon black neon and glowlight tetars kept all these types of tetras with a number of fighters and they do fine

Thats not what i. Talking about i keep azolla myself i had to move it out of my pond because it was being out competed by the other plants eg fibre optic grass and other natives

A great native plant which floats like duck weed is azolla it creates the same look but enough willfie off during summer to stop is becoming a proplem

Duck weed will end up covering the whole pond and you wont be able to see the fish you vould allways remove a bunch once it covers the pond but you eould have to do it over and over again duck weed can also stop importit micro shopic algae from growing

The frist things i would do is get rid of that duck weed and plant some shading plants of the edge purry tonefar thats how its pro nonsed cant spell it would be great its a native fern like plant that grows on the banks of steams and you defernitley need to get rid of that duck weed

If you where to keep kokopu in a pond (ive seen banded/short jawed in pools about the size of your pond ) it would be better if you kept the pond planted this is better then wood and rocks because the fish feel like their hidden but you can see their dark bodys in the green plants but do make sure you have some wood so they can hide from the odd kingfisher
