so, my filamentosa i got a we while back ive been sitting on peat from them (incubation time of 60 days) - well 12 days overdue and i thought i had better hatch them cos i could see eyes staring at me. Good news New Zealand - aparently they are alive - I now have fry - which have had 3 feeds of bbs now, and have gone from a small round container (collection container) to their own tank bay with filter today and peat bottom. - so now all we do is lots of water changes and massive feeds and well... we PRAY they survive.
Don't steal my potted one that runs out on auction tomorrow.( please its my bday pressie).. I'm trying to grow it so it can be shared I have a few cuttings I'm waiting for roots and new shoots before I can share

Hi... we have 2 clubs locally upper hutt and kapi mana. I'll let ya know if I have any spare plants I have some amazon swords you can come and collect if wanting some swords. ( I'm upper hutt) a few in my community tank need removing as some of the rarer plants aren't getting enough space. Other wise a local sells very cheap plants aquatic plants. Co.nz.
Hi guys I have 8 long finned peppered cories and I want to increase my group I think... luck has deceived me and I have all females.... I've had my group for 2 years almost and not once have the spawned... the biggest one is a whopping three inch wing span so I'm talking mature fish. Anyway if anyone has any they'd let go let me know. Thanks heaps
You can put a smelly shrimp in a stocking in the tank... that will keep Tha bacteria fed for a bit.. or if u really want I'm in upper hutt and can kick start ur filter off my betta barracks or can switch ya some seeded material... You could always just try it and thwn be ready to maybe wait one more week after u get back to check thw water fully to make sure... Also I know ya want to add fish slowly but cories are a social bunch and love having bigger groups aim for at least 6 I'd say even better is 8 but watch your stocking levels with a 100 tank. Plenty of us out there who can help if you want some help. Enjoy your holiday... ( another option would be to find a cheap auto feeder if u wanted)
