  4. they are very nice but i think his blue rocks are even more impressive should look into some of those for my new tank
  5. the tank will still be a reef tank and so i want a low bioload to make my job easier. lots of big fish = lots of big poops. i had my eye on something like a striated angler.
  6. for my new tank im considering getting a predator, and having it as the only fish in the tank as some of them have great colours and im sure they have the personalaties to match i dont plan on buying chromis every week so i would have to wean it from live food to nonlive food, as a staple to start with i could use the ghost shrimp from the local rock pools and maybe even have a stock of them in the fugium. if all else fails and the fish doesnt take to prepared food then the shrimps would probably provide the bulk of the food for it. is it possible to breed them and if so what would be the time frame etc????
  7. so co-worker A comes over to look at my tank and says "oh where are the fish?" so i reply i need to find the right one but i kind of like it the way it is. reply - "so you just like to have it empty, isnt that boring??" co worker B stumbles past and catches a glance for the first time and i hear a "wow thats so cool" good old mr B
  8. you want something with the largest possible surface area, pumice and scoria beat plain old rock.

  10. well some interesting observations of the tank so far pods are king. tons of them swimming around now, even saw a few getting their grooves on. my crab doesnt seem to agree with my coral placement and has moved a brain frag away from his little home my zoos that i moved from my tank at home had quite long stalks wether it be because of the flow or light i dont know but since been in this tank they have retracted and are looking more normal now starpolyps dont seem to fully extend untill 2 hours after lights on
