sheesh, its a shame you just broke your brand new diamante 8 footer. and my plasma screen that was holding up the tank

hmmmm tempting, doesnt look easy to direct the flow though

nothting is going to fit straight in (other than bulbs of different colour) you could modify the hood to fit in better lights

pretty neat, i wouldnt want one drilled into the tank as it would be a killer for maintanence but you could make an acrylic box and hang it on the back

The closed loop wouldnt give me the flow i want so i would still need something in tank to do that, thats why ive chosen the streams, im not having allot of rock work to block the flow either so the closed loops arent essential to get under the rocks

has anyone seen the tunze skimmers in action? they seem to be priced resonably but i cant really find how they work (Needle wheel,venturi??)

well ive decided against closed loop, im going to invezst in a nice tunze setup with multi controller. and ill just use my seio along the bottom to avoid dead spots

Only suggestion i can think of is giving it some time. Those female clowns can be really stroppy though, must be something in the water.

I've seen these in a few pics around, im guessing they are some type of actinic lighting or vho or whatever. http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=97f2e40fe0b28aba75b3a2f4d107189c&threadid=646829 the reason i ask is ive never seen them in NZ but some of the tanks that ive seen them on have some great colours.
