What do people find the best to use under their tank? I was looking at a rubber mat, but it was $95 at 15mm so I think I may go with poly My tank is 1700x 700 so what thickness would be best to use?

I thought as much. Although I just had a look and it said nothing about built in heating. I think that is a great idea for top of the line canisters.

I just put a Thai green curry into my slow cooker for tomorrow night. I gave it a quick taste test and it rocked my socks off with heat :love: I thought then that maybe I should look at the instructions on the paste's can. It said add 50g, Iused half of the packet oppps :facepalm: I am so looking forward to dinner tomorrow night

Well with the sub in they havne not moved or anything, so I dont see why that they would with out it if I do my stacking correctly. It is more the pressure on the base in a small area, I will use the flanel idea under some of the bigger not so round bits. Thanks all

I am in the same mind set as you. A concern I have is about geographical location. Is everything done email/interweb communications? -
I will lock that in then. Interestingly enough the whole "crypt melt" thing I havnt noticed ever any of these melting, including uping the temp, lowering as well as when I rehomed them and have taken them out and put them in new tanks
